As we watched the devastating earthquake shake the country of Haiti, many of us began to ask ourselves this one question, "what can I do to help?". Over the years Haiti has fallen victim to broken systems and injustice- leaving its people to take care of themselves. However; those of us who are aware of such "unfairness" are not comfortable simply observing - we must "be something" to the people of Haiti- we must be a voice.
Such a journey takes time and patience, and most of all relationship. Thank you for supporting us in this mission, thank you for praying for us as we travel, and thank you for signing your name with us in our stories. Thank you to the people of Haiti, who allow us such privilege to learn about your lives, shares of yourselves, welcomes us in with open arms- and most of all- for standing together with us in this journey.
